Midladder players think dagger duchess is bad because most of what they face down there is beatdown. Dagger Duchess counters control/cycle, which is why it dominates high level play, but has a tougher time against beatdown, especially considering that there's going to be a level imbalance.

middladder dagger duchess is insane, i got it to level 15 with my first 50k wildcards, and it carried me all the way from challanger 1 to league 10 1900 rating

since I use level 13 dagger dutchess every matchup became easier. I hope they nerf it though because my hogs never break through

This deck looks sick at high level but when I play it at mid ladder I just dominated by Mega Knight, Valkyrie, Firecracker, Witch. And I don’t mean individually. I’ve quite literally played that same combo multiple times in a short span.
