You may notice I've blurred out Skinport at 3:37 - the editor included their logo rather than Skinclub by mistake. By the time I realised I'd waited 3 days for youtube to manually review the video for monetization, so I decided 'fuck it' and just blurred the image rather than getting it fixed. But just to be clear, Skinport is not a gambling site, and there's no known cases of Skinport users getting banned.

For me the bans for scammed Items are a big Problem because the User accepting them has nearly no way to check if its scammed, so mostly it hits random innocent traders and there is now way to protect from it happening.

imo the, pretty much unregulated, gambling scene around CS is just another scandal waiting to happen. Just imagine 1 tv report about a 12 year old who lost 10k gambling with his mom's credit card on sites that use skins and cases to target a younger audience.
Also most gambling revenue comes from a small minoroty of users, so i dont think effectively banning gambling sites will have a real impact on the games popularity.

Most of the people who are getting banned are the people who bot snipe items off gambling sites. Deserved.

i think some big traders got banned because they used empire in a bad way, i know there is a script bot that can snipe liquid items that are listed for super low price like 70-75% and after the tradeban the guy can resell it for 100% or even 105%, which is literally crazy profits from people desparate to gamble , in case of buff u can still put low price for the item, but u cant make it too low, beucase this might get u banned for market manipulation in buff and i think thats why buff is fine and wont have problems in the future

Im actually happy about this, now i can stop gambling, im still gonna open cases some times but their so dissapointing i dont do it often

I haven’t gotten banned but my funds have been being put on hold occasionally after withdrawing from Csgo Roll. The only reason given is “you refunded something recently” which I haven’t done in years…

Stg I’ll sell everything and not play ever again if valve wants to be like this, I didn’t buy the skins to keep forever I don’t think anyone did, people buy with the idea that they can sell them and get some of their money back, no one wants to use the steam market, especially when there is a limit on price and some items being in the thousands

If valve restricted gambling they will destroy there own marked because unboxing skins is such a nice thing because you can do what you want with your skins. Gambling is a huge part of the skin economy opening cases will lose my interests if valve restricted gambling on third party sites
