I'm just here to say that Estonian isn't a Slavic language (it's not even Indo-European, but Finno-Ugric like Finnish), so it definitely wouldn't sound anything like what the Ukrainian lady was speaking.

I actually got the Ethiopian guy right, and I know they did another video where I was shocked to find myself correctly recognizing Somali. I live in Minnesota in the US and there’s a huge population of refugees and immigrants from that area of the world, mainly Somalian followed by Ethiopian, but I also have met people from countries like Eritrea and Malawi. And lots of Nigerians, from the other side of the continent 😊 I also love that I recognize Mandarin and Brazilian Portuguese whenever I hear it due to exposure. It’s so fun for some reason!

The first one is definitely Portuguese. I learned Portuguese for a few years because we went on holiday there. I found that whilst it was a Romance language the accent, at least in the Algarve sounds a little Slav. Regarding Estonian, like Finnish and Hungarian it’s in the Finno-Ugric language group.

I work at an aerospace manufacturing company and largely since it's beginning has employed SE Asians and East Europeans. To this day I am friends with people from many nationalities and most speak 2 or 3 languages. One speaks English, German, Russian and her native Bosnian.

The Flemish was interesting, as her accent was definitely native Flemish, but her grammar was off just enough here and there that I suspect she hasn't really spoken it in years.

The first one is my native language. She was complaining about a bad day with a lot of curse words. It was kind of jaring listening to it right out of the bat
