I had to listen to the "Mercedes Blender noise of Death" all the way to work this week. That noise come from the speedo cable and only happens when it's pretty cold out.

It does. Not sure if it works. It's a Becker.

I drove a S2000 Honda with a leaking top at the windshield on the highway for half hr. I was about deaf for an hr after that from the wind whistle.

This is what you've been missing! Those newer cars don't have fun little problems like this. It almost takes the fun out of having a car if it works right all the time like the newer ones do...

I wish we had em out here.. There are a few things I want lol...The guy at both Junk yards told me they get very few in because people tend to rebuild them after wrecks since there like Lego Cars

So what was the problem? Is it the speedometer head or the cable?

Hi, I have the same problem with my 67 Mercedes 250s. Do you know how to take the instrument cluster out?
