I think I'm one of the few people who doesn't care about Budapest-- it was a funny, throwaway line in "Avengers" that people need to stop taking so seriously. And at this point it has built up so much hype that it's better kept unexplained because any answer is going to not be able to live up to the hype. However, I am interested in Marvel explaining the history between BW and Winter Soldier! "The least you could do is recognize me."

Honestly I don't want a Black Widow movie in between Iron Man 2 and the Avengers, I would rather it take place when she first became an assassin.

I think it’s too late...it would’ve been much better in phase two or three if it was a prequel. If this is in the past I hope they at least do something with Captain Marvel where it still ties into what’s happening currently and move things forward

My understanding is that this director has a background of noir and spy movies. I am super excited about this and I love that it’s a prequel. I hope it’s actually further back then Iron Man timeframe. I hope it’s her early mission with SHIELD. Maybe even go over her switching of sides.

I'm a 100% positive that the movie is going to:

•Tell the sooo famous and sooo teased "Budapest story" (Teased in "The Avengers")
•Be an origin film (They have never shown us where does she come from)
•Show how she was trained when she was younger (Her visions in "Avengers: Age of Ultron")
•Make you go through her encounter with The Winter Soldier (Her bullet scar in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier")

Awesome that we are getting a Black Widow movie. I'm loving that the MCU is becoming diverse with more female led MCU movies. Aswell as Black Panther and Captain Marvel, hopefully we will see more hispanic, asian, muslim MCU movies in the future.
