The Morkie is a small, intelligent and adaptable crossbreed of a Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese.

This Maltese Yorkie Mix is a happy and loyal lap dog which is best suited to an individual or couple in a smaller home or apartment.

Whilst playful and friendly, this little toy dog has a large appetite for attention and very quickly becomes emotionally dependent upon their owner.

This adaptable dog loves to get along with other canines and pets and requires minimal exercise due to their small size.

Despite their infamous tea cup size, and ability to easily fit into most bags, these dogs come full of life, confidence and attitude.

Despite the fact that most could comfortably hitch a ride in a handbag, these little dogs can be brash and full of confidence.

I rescued my Morkie at 12 months, she already had 3 pups and she had been passed several times. She looked so sad but now 6 years later having a wonderful like. Loves other dogs. In winter it is so cold here in Edmonton so she goes on her pee pads all the time. when spring comes we go for walks every day. Soon we will go to the office leash by the river and just loves playing with little dogs and loves big dogs. Best thing I ever did. ❤

My lil lady CHIBI is almost 7 and still looks like a puppy, she adores having her belly rubbed "EVERYDAY", and when she is sleeping she often dreams as you'll find out when because as with all Morkies they will whimper and whine at first it will catch you out as being in distress but rub that belly so very gently and your Morkie will probably start gently snoring, they are a breed apart and relatively rare, 3 walks a day quality food and biscuits and naturally plenty of water and lots of of love and affection you've got quite possibly the most adorable and loyal lil friend you'll ever find in a gorgeous lil doggy ( no apologies for being gaga over my lil CHIBI)

I have trained my Morkie not to bark. He is going he was going to be a service dog so I couldn't allow it. Now he never barks he sneezes when he gets excited it's so cute. It can be done but it takes patience

My Morkie is the easiest dog to own. He's not a barker, sleeps a lot, very friendly with everyone and other animals. His coat doesn't shed and he doesn't require a lot of exercise although I do take him on a good walk each day. Perhaps I'm very lucky to have such a great Morkie. If you make a video about a particular breed, maybe all the footage should focus on that breed. I think some of the information was a little inaccurate..
