Back in the 90's. everyone 'needed' a 4x4, so manufacturers obliged. Ford teamed up with Nissan, BMW bought Rover (And Land Rover/Range Rover among the assets), and Vauxhall/Opel raided the GM 4x4 stores to build the Frontera.

With its Izuzu V6 engine, the Frontera proved to be a more than capable vehicle, once the initial issues had been ironed out. Ladder chassis enabled it to stay rigid over more rugged terrane, but what is it like in daily driving?

I drive a 1995 2.0 sport short wheel base in Devon, grew up with these cars I love them ! Regardless of their hateful history, I'm the 2nd owner on mine she's done 60k miles, good video by the way !
