As a naturally curly/wavy gal, the irony that you said you don't like curly hair on yourself and then proceeded to curl your hair is not lost on me XD.
As for your hair being able to hold the curl - try using products which contain protein (or adding silk protein drops to your hair mask), that helped me a lot. xx

To be fair for almost £400 cheaper a bit of extra time is definitely worth it, I bought the same one from the TikTok shop and the only downside was the temperature it gets but I just have a glove that you normally use with a curler or a towel to grab the attachments! worth it especially comparing to the price of a dyson!

I think the dupe side definitely isn't as smooth and sleek as the Dyson side, i think you can actually tell that Dyson spent more time perfecting their product, I suppose that's what you're paying for, the superior technology etc, it's just a Shame it's so expensive! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Aveda is LIFE! I wear my natural curls in the summer, and straight or manually curled during the winter. THANK YOU for specifically saying “no I don’t want to try curly whatever method”. People tell me that shit ALL the time and I’m not freaking interested. My natural curls look amazing to me without it and I WILL NOT give up aveda products because people claim they aren’t curly girl method friendly. I’ll pass. But I don’t understand why people that do it are so damn pushy about it. We good.

Dyson airwrap curling techniques only lasts if you do it on slightly damp hair. I see so many videos of people curling their hair with airwrap and starting with dry hair then wondering why it drops out. It needs to be dried into style to keep the curls. So glad you sprayed it with water first. :)

i would recommend using a mousse on damp hair before styling it ! It works really well at holding the curls, even better than hairspray <3

I honestly don’t know what I’d do without my airwrap now. Got it for the barrels but I use the brushes more. Hope you enjoyed Iceland. Been wanting to go for years now so hopefully I’ll get there soon 💕
