'Great to hear that you carry vetiver! I thought I had to order it from Puerto Rico. Vetiver is great on the downside slope of swale berms. It has a way of becoming a green wall - super for trapping silt and stopping erosion on hills. 'Another reason to swing by and visit your nursery. Thanks! - By the way, vetiver oil smells great and can be an additional form of income for people who grow a lot of it. When you're at Sprouts (in Phoenix) dab yourself with Vetiver essential oil. 'Smells like a masculine version of patchouli oil. Has lots of medicinal benefits.

I'm growing vetiver in a container in England. When I scratch the roots, the aroma of vetiver oil can be detected. It smells identical the vetiver essential oil I have in a bottle. If I ever get enough biomass to work with, I might try to steam distill the essential oil. Some plants with pleasantly aromatic foliage or bark worth growing include lemon verbena, tea tree (Melaleuca), African blue basil, allspice (Pimenta dioica), Ceylon cinnamon, kaffir lime, lemon eucalyptus, broadleaved peppermint (Eucalyptus dives), scented geraniums, root beer plant (Piper auritum), bergamot orange (Citrus bergamia).
