A creepy night shift at the local morgue leads to a nightmarish tale of horror and suspense. Prepare yourselves for a graveyard shift horror animation that you will never forget.

I don’t usually hold back when it comes to talking about my job which was working security at the
sub-level of a local hospital, you’d be surprised to know how common break-ins were at that place
which usually ended up being a couple of junkies trying to get high on some of the weird chemicals
that were being kept in the labs. It started out as a regular graveyard shift at work but I’ll lead in with a curious backstory regarding the doors that led to the morgue. In order to keep the place more sanitized, they had recently installed sliding doors that would automatically open if someone passed in front of them thus removing the need to touch any handles or doorknobs and prevent anyone from leaving the doors open by accident. Hygiene played a major role at that morgue and it had been on the agenda for the past few months. There wasn’t anything really unique about the sliding doors,
except for the fact that they would sometimes open and close by themselves. That by itself didn’t seem like such a big deal since this could have been caused by something small such as a moth flying in front of the sensor, until one night, I realized that it would always happen at the same time.
Every night at exactly 3 AM, the doors would open for a few seconds and then close.

This reminds me of a story my mom told me happened to her when she was a young nurse working in the hospital. She was working the night shift and was on the level with the morgue, completely alone. She said she was walking down the hall and heard footsteps behind her, just slightly lagging behind her own footsteps (similar to a horror game when you hear an extra pair of steps). Every time she glanced behind, the footsteps would stop but there was no one there. She got so scared that she ran towards the elevator and went to someone at the desk to ask if there's supposed to be anyone else working on that floor but the person said my mom was the only one there. The other nurses were also known to avoid that floor as much as possible.

Bruh, I've been a security guard for 6 years in a hospital in Casper Wyoming, I've been doing the graveyard shifts now for 2 years, i can tell you that everytime i go near the morgue, i can sense a change in temperature, that's true bruh.

As a student nurse, this reminded me of when we had our night shift at the NICU and DR. This didn’t happen to our group but to the group who went on before us (each group was scheduled differently per week). Since we were second year students, our year level specializes on mother and child and do actual child birth. The girl of that group walked passed the recovery room (after the mother gives birth) right near the delivery room and there was a woman who was just looking down sitting on the bed (all white with long hair). As a nursing student, we must at least check on the mother, the girl then asked the woman what she wanted and it LITERALLY REPLIED TO HER WITH, “I want water, I’m thirsty” So then she went out of that room and got some water, when she came back the woman was gone. Confused, she then asked our clinical instructor/professor where did the mother from that room went because she asked for some water. Our instructor told her there was NO ONE THERE AND THAT ROOM IS THE C-SECTION ROOM where it had been vacated for a year. That just spent chills down her spine and also to us when our professor said that.
ANOTHER ONE. Still that same group. It was their last day of duty so then they decided to take pictures together with the nurses at the nurse station. Nothing was noticed until they posted the photo and other students were commenting that there’s a hand on the shoulder of the other student. The hand was blueish/grayish, seems like a decaying hand. They all tried to figure it was just someone’s hand from the group. But it couldn’t be because the rest of the people in the picture are quiet far from him.

Hospitals are really the dirtiest (literally) and creepiest place to be! But yeah, I love my current choice of course now
