I’m in the UK and yes Votary is sold in high end stores only so only known really by beauty fans. Love that it’s so simple and clean. I don’t mind paying more when I know the ingredients are top quality. Whilst I can’t comment on super seed collection (but the cream is now next on my wishlist) I’m loving using the lemon/neroli toning serum (2 steps in 1 is a bonus) and face oils (alternate between rose/sandalwood and neroli/myrrh). Has really balanced and softened my skin as well as tightened so pores are less visible in last 6 weeks. The fragrances smell totally natural, definitely nothing synthetic.
Was keen to try the intense night oil but thanks for the heads up as I was interested in it as a night time retinoid.
I also have the apricot cleansing oil which I’ve heard good things about but not yet tried. I’ve even bought a big set of their cloths in preparation but the laundry seems a commitment haha.
Thanks for another enjoyable and informative video Reagan!

Thanks for the review! I got the Boxwalla Votary box too, and I'll admit that initially I was disappointed as I had assumed that Votary is a bougie, overpriced brand that only became popular because it was announced that Kate Middleton is a fan. (How I know this is beyond me!) Over the years, I have bought many equally expensive clean/green skincare products based on their ingredient list, and I focused on the actives within the formula. What I was missing is in Votary - relatively plain, simple and soothing. It might seem odd to appreciate such basic formulations with no bells nor whistles, but my skin is loving the quiet simplicity of these products. The Super Seed serum is my favorite, and the cream is second. I thought that the oil sounded pretty meh, but considering that the serum and cream work so well for me, I figured I'd use it as suggested. Tbh, I use many products based on promises of better skin health without seeing any discernible results, so it's refreshing to find products that actually immediately make my skin look and feel it's best.

I got the boxwalla featuring votary and I completely agree with you! I really enjoyed the cream and serum but the oil was lackluster for me. My skin did not like the oil at all so I tossed it :(

I like the oil when my skin feels irritated, but agree it’s not spectacular. I still am a little hesitant to try the moisturizer I got in the Boxwalla box because it has coconut oil (can sometimes break me out), but I’ve heard great things. Would you recommend it for combo skin? I just hate wasting product when it doesn’t work for you, but I might just give in. Thanks for your review! 😉
