I have a history of depression and suicidal thoughts. Thankfully I'm entirely done with that part of my life, however, it's songs like these that make me realize how easy it would be to slip back into the dark, dark, abyss. It's enticing, in some twisted sort of way. But I know I never truly want to feel those feelings again. It was hell on earth.
But now here I am! Loving life. Somehow, I got myself through those dark times. And now, I think back on those times and realize how far I've come. Life is an experience. Live it while you can. Enjoy it.
