This video does a good job of explaining the differences among the WD19 models, something I have been unable to find on Dell's website. I think it would do Dell a lot of good to make a page that summarizes these three models to compare and contrast them. Otherwise you're going to end up with a lot of people accidentally buying the wrong one and being angry about features not being as expected, especially since they look so similar. Thanks!

Any troubleshooting tips to get the WD19 working with an Asus Vivobook Pro 15? I have a D6000 Universal Dock that works fine, but haven't been able to get my new WD19 working yet.

I have a Precision 7750 and I was given a WD19 here at work. The notes I have in a dock compatibility guide says that the WD19 is supported to use with this model, however it says I have to plug the laptop in externally for optimal operation. So I have the 180w adapter plugged into the unit, then when I plug in to the WD19 (single USB-c plug) I get a yellow triangle "!" on the power icon in the system tray. That leads me to believe that I am not getting optimal performance or I might be hurting the laptop in some way. Did I hook this up correctly?

I'm so confused on which dock to buy. If I don't have any devices with a thunderbolt connection, is the WD19 all I would need? I have the xps 7390 laptop.

So how do i get the 240W for a Dell XPS15 9570 then? It has only 1 Thunderbolt/USB C connector... If I connect a dock with 130W psu, it will give me a warning at startup that the power is insufficient.

I use Dell xps 9575 with dock WD19TB :
This product is not stable, when I connect it to my XPS doesn't work the first time, I have to connect and disconnect several times to make it work but sometimes I have to restart my machine, Dell support changed me the dock, and also the motherboard twice without any changes I still have the same problem.

Is it possible to use the dock if it isnt connected to a power source?

I currently have a WD15 Dock/Hub for my Laptop - which does have 3 Display outputs - but only 2 of them are 2 HD and the 3rd is lower res VGA. When I called Dell and asked their Customer Support to provide me with a unit that has 3 HD Display outputs they directed me to this WD19TB. Watching this short video - it looks like this Dock is not capable of pushing 3 HD displays at the same time - It is either Display Port -OR- the HDMI. I assume this would be for a 2nd Display - since there are 2 Display port and one HDMI port on the back of a WD19TB. Is this correct?

I have a Dell laptop Latitude 5530 and bought a Dell WD19S docking station and two Dell monitors SE2722H. I connected one monitor to the HDMI port of the docking station and the other monitor to the Display Port of the Docking station using a Dell Display to HDMI converter. The only monitor that works with the laptop display is the one connected to the HDMI port of the Docking station, while the other monitor that is connected to the Display port doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong?

Wondering if someone can help, I got my WD19 sent to me from work, I connected a 4k 60hz and ultrawide 2k 120hz monitor via display port 1.4 cables to the dock, on initial set up it worked fine with my Intel NUC laptop, the next day upon waking the laptop the displays no longer work with the dock at all, can anyone help?

Im Blown away that this unit cannot support 3 external monitors + having the laptop screen on. For its Price I should be able to control NASA, and not just 3 screens.
