In Canada a win for Aston Martin would be historic. A win for Lance Stroll would be Epic!

It's gonna be a snoozefest with RB's straight line speed. Max will wander off in the first lap never to be seen again. Calling it.

6:45 no pressure on Ferrari. But an opportunity for RB. Could Adrian also design a Le Mans winner? With Max, Checo and Daniel behind the wheel?

The Canadian race probably means a great deal to Stroll senior, possibly even more so than to Lance. Aston-Martin's other home track?

The Ferrari Le Mans Return and Victory from that same moment is underlining two salient points. Firstly F1 is intoxicated with Politics, which may not yet be same for WEC at this point in time. Secondly, I feel large manufacturing houses are not as adaptable in sport politics. After all, the least we forget that Bentley only won again at Le Mans because they were bespoke'd Audis, Jaguar because it was ran by Tom Walkinshaw Racing, Mercedes because of the AMG/Petronas/Wolff organization, and therefore Ferrari winning because of the AF Corse organization calls for one question: should Ferrari only engineer and have races managed by sub-contractors who do not confuse in-house politics with the already important politics of the Sport and the regulatory organisers.

I will be there and looking forward to it. Could be rainy especially during quali. That could make things interesting.

Love the Pre and Post Shows and Tech Explainers on the Tube but I usually listen to the Podcasts on the Go or at the Gym. When do I know if a Preview Video like this is only for Youtube or will come out as Podcast?

I suspect rain will be an issue, so it will be down to whomever best manages their pit stops.

It is essential cars get smaller and lighter for better racing. They have the agility of a supertanker negotiating the Suez Canal. 600kg and a metre shorter would be good. Just like the Prius they will have to be innovative developing the battery to fit.

Gee, wonder who'll win? It's so unpredictable in F1.

2026 car should be lighter, narrower, in particular the front wings should be massively reduced. Made much simpler and narrower . Having such a huge wing proud out the front cannot help in close racing situations.

I will be there and crossing my fingers for a Lap 1, Senna S incident à la Alex Wurz to spice things up.

8:50 I am sorry did he just say it's all about Quali in Spain. I mean George went P12-3. Lewis was behind Lance after lap 1. They simply didn't have the pace of Merc

Red Bull has already won the race. Ferrari falling backwards as their car eats tyres. Mercedes now second overall

Anyone know where to go to get autographs from the drivers?

One of the few courses where Checo could possibly challenge Max for the win that remains on the schedule: Tight turns in front of long straights is what Checo is good at. Merc has the same car they did last year, with some suspension tweaks and sidepods, Hamilton finished P3 here last year, so they have a chance at a podium, but I wouldn't bet against Verstappen at this point. Best chance is Max having bad luck, outside of that...slim and none.

...why has the Canadian Grand Prix been such a signaure GP in races past...?
