IDF special forces clear a house of Hamas fighters in Gaza

This video shows the IDF’s Yahalom special forces unit clearing a building in Gaza. The Yahalom is the special operations arm of the IDF’s engineering forces and specialises in bomb disposal. It says it killed two Hamas terrorists in the fight.

The IDF reports that Reserve Petty Officer Elisha Levinstern, 38, of Harish, a member of the 8104th Battalion, 179th Ram Armored Brigade, was killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip on December 13.

Another soldier of the same battalion was seriously wounded in this battle.

From October 31 to December 14, 116 IDF soldiers were killed during the ground operation in Gaza.
