Honestly this game was one of the scariest with all of it’s brutality… ao simple yet so cruel.

This was their FIRST game and I think people seem to miss that. They were not meant to survive. They didn’t know the ground was going to erupt suddenly, even if they ran for the closest exit- what’s to say there wouldn’t be an explosion near there? We see later the entire arena in shambles. In my opinion, the games reflect their survival in real life. If this was their first game, then they weren’t exactly meant to survive

People say that this game is too difficult to have a seven. However the field is very close to the exit since it’s in the middle. If they had a different starting point that is farther from the exit then the stakes would be more difficult.

I feel like this is one of the biggest hints the show has given us about the plot twist. What happened in the game is probably close to what happened in real life, especially with the collapsing buildings and ground exploding debris and earth everywhere. The fact that the show chose to show us her first game (which didn’t happen to most of the other main characters) was really excellent foreshadowing.

Btw in the manga, there were only 7 of them in the arena representing the difficulty of the game. she only survives because she went to go pee before entering the arena. She's the only one to survive and she didn't even know of the game mechanics yet.

I prefer the live one though, it shows Heiya's scrappiness, and quick thinking to survive
