Not nominating ITZY for best performance and not nominating NMIXX for best vocal group is just crazy. Wooow.
People will say they didn’t meet the requirements but the requirements for these nominations are just absurd.
The award is for best performance and best vocal group but the requirements is highly based on sales?? How is that even related.
Why don’t they just create a new category for best sales(male group, female group, solo male, solo female) and just focus on using the right requirements for the other awards.
-The requirements for Best vocals group should highly depend on the vocal ability of the group plus the kind of vocals the group have showcased in that particular year in their songs and other events.
-The requirements for Best performance group should also focus on the performance ability of the group and how well the group has showcased their performances in that particular year.
-And that should be the case for other nominations too.That will make more sense than what they are doing.

KIOF and ITZY got absolutely screwed and I’m so sad for them. Kep1er is another name I was shocked to not see more than once in the nominations. I know their popularity isn’t exactly what it used to be in Korea (thank god they’re massive in Japan) but their album was so incredibly good.
