A very dramatic time-lapse video of the Spit Bridge opening (thanks to the music!).

This drawbridge, also known as a bascule bridge, opened in 1958 and is still annoying Sydney's motorists to this very day.

Filmed on Sunday 6th December 2015 at the 6:30pm opening.

The tall Ship 'Søren Larsen' just happened to be passing through.
