God’s Creation

In the beginning, God spoke the Word,
And the world came to be, as it was heard.
He created the Heavens and the Earth,
And all that is within, from the smallest to the greatest birth.

He formed the oceans and the lands,
The mountains and the deserts, with His own hands.
He made the animals and the plants,
Each one unique, with its own charms and grants.

He created man, in His own image,
To love and serve Him, and to be His vicegerent.
He gave us breath and life, and a purpose to fulfill,
To love and care for His creation, with all our will.

And on the seventh day, He rested,
But His love for us never ceased, never contested.
He is the creator of all things, great and small,
And His love for us, it will stand tall.

So let us praise the Lord, our creator and King,
He has given us life, and everything.
May we honor Him, in all we do,
And give thanks for His love, that is ever true.
