I've heard that QSP is the manufacturer of the Finch knives...and if you check the 1929 model, you'll see what are they capable of.

my biggest gripe with my penguin is that it came with grey jean micarta instead of the sexy blue that was in the pictures on blade hq.
Really should have noticed it said "jean micarta" instead of "blue jean micarta"

I have all.kinds of knives but I just bought the qsp penguin in brass handle its heavy but I absolutely love it excellent knife for a budget knife

The real prices for steel and the cost of manufacturing them aren't probably as highhhh as the companies charging 4 to 5 times the prices of Civivi and QSP are charging. These guys are raising the bar and lowering the prices. Would buy them over pretty drawer knives any day.

I have the brown micarta, it’s super nice too, but I think the denim is nicer looking. I agree with everything you said in this review 100%!

Mine delivered today. Looking forward to getting home from work and playing with it. I doubt it’ll replace my civivi elementum but I’m sure it’ll be in the rotation
