It's amazing how your videos take about half the time other book tubers need for this kinda content, and yours are at least as GOOD <3 And you give out the perfect calming vibes!

Such a great idea for a video. I watch a lot of book videos but never came across something like this.
I'm currently reading Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, also from Persephone Books. A great read as well!

I really love your backdrop, especially during the autumn winter times hihi! This vid is awesome and I adore the Persephone books so much. I only have a few, because they're soo expensive to order *sigh*. I really enjoyed both The Far Cry and The Making of a Marchioness! :) The Far Cry isn't super plot heavy (from what I remember) necessarily but it does have lovely writing. Hope you enjoy it!

A great video. Love to read that Whipple. Next time would like to look at a Persephone book in detail. I have heard that they are quite beatifully done.

I just did this! It was between Mariana, Making of a Marchioness, and Little Boy Lost. I decided to read Mariana and I am enjoying it. I loved watching you go through the process and look forward to your review. Happy Reading!

What a great stack to choose from! I have been going through a persephone book phase but it seems like less people are talking about them on booktube. I just took The Far Cry off my shelf to read, but havent started it yet. I loved the the Making of a Marchioness. It took me a while to get into to Marina and I liked the end more than the beginning. I don't have They Were Sisters but loved other 4 books by the Dorothy Whipple I read. I have little boy lost but it seems more of a sad one and I haven't felt like reading something like that. Enjoy them all and I look forward to hearing what you think!

Hello- new subscriber here.

This was perfect timing for me. I’m headed to London soon and my first stop will be Persephone Books. I’m already overwhelmed with choices so this helped me because now I know I want The Far Cry, the Whipple and Marianna. Thank you so much.

have you read any of marghanita laski's other books? i read 'the victorian chaise-longue' and thought it was excellent, i own 'tory heaven/thunder on the right' but with the current political state of the UK it's felt too real to read atm 😟

Morning, Alice!I wonder if you try a chapter when getting books in physical stores? Or it is more like "Ooo! Wonderful cover and a synopsis is inticing. You're going back home with me:D"!
