Leader…when the USA pulled up its socks and flexed its muscles…today’s politicians aren’t fit to lick his boots. Much respect from the UK❤

I’m so grateful that the interviewer let him just talk, with only minor interruptions. He’s a storyteller, and he’s got one heck of a story!

I read Kranz's book "Failure Is Not An Option" back in 2015 and it was life changing. Such an incredible book. I never in a million years thought I would get the opportunity to meet him. One of the great honors of my life was meeting Mr. Kranz in April of this year at the Lonestar Flight Museum. Amazing.

I love when he talks about when he walks in he hears things and recalls even now as if it were yesterday. Thats called an intense situational awareness. Thats why He was in the position that he was..

Gene Kranz is a true American Hero and a "steely eyed missile man". What a class act!

The level of detail this guy still has in his head about the systems and hardware is amazing. How can people possibly believe that we didn't go to the moon and that he's lying about all of this detail. Absolutely astonishing that people still believe we didn't go.

Christmas morning and this popped up on my feed. I couldn't have asked for a better gift. Mr. Kranz is one of our living national treasures, and a role model that future generations should emulate. God bless him and his memories.

Mr. Kranz is a national treasure. I grew up on Florida’s Space Coast during Apollo, and eventually worked on the Shuttle program for 25 years. I had the opportunity to travel to JSC in support of Shuttle Imagery. A co-worker arranged for a tour of the very same control room with Mr. Kranz. It was one of the most memorable experiences in my 36-year career. We dressed in period clothes and recreated the famous photo of the control room’s reaction to Apollo 13 splashdown. Our guy who posed as Mr. Kranz even had the flat top cut, a detail that Mr. Kranz loved. He posed with us which made it so special. It was a magical day. Thanks again to Mr. Kranz for your time, and sharing your wisdom.

I love how sharp he is at almost 90. You can see it in his eyes when he’s retelling the stories…for him he’s seeing every detail like it just happened. Very cools dude.

To be such a big part of the Apollo 11 success is just incredible, but Gene Kranz also made a huge input in the successful recovery of the Apollo 13 crew. I think the latter was just as big a success as the Moon landing.

Simply a legend. He is an extraordinary person. I was 15 years old and Apollo 11 and the subsequent missions was one of mankind’s greatest achievements. Like the large hadron Collider.
