This was the first dance for my husband and I's wedding 6 years ago. Not only do I love the song, but I loved that, with the exception of a couple people, no one at our wedding had ever heard it before, nor had they heard of the band.

When I was listening to this song for the first time I was like: "Wtf?! Tony you aren´t a teenager to write and sing such a cheesy song. Sonata isn´t One Direction!" 
Then I read Tony´s explanation to this song which changed my mind:
 “I've been at times asked how all Sonata love songs are just cruel and sad and something is or goes always wrong. Well: Happiness is boring. That's why all the tv-series are full of drama. 25 seasons of fucking sunshine and ice cream does not sell. Anyway, this is my attempt to navigate the uncharted waters of Happy. Sometimes you see these really old couples, who walk hand in hand, like they've done since they were mere kids. “Love” is a song about that life long love we all would deserve. It's just beautiful. And rare.“

I love Sonata's ballads, I always have. When I heard this song for the first time, I thought it was an OK song. Now I've listened the whole new album a few times, and I love this track more and more. It's very different compared to Sonata's previous ballads, but I think it is a good thing that they try different things. I love this song.

I've seen a lot of people who hail Ecliptica as Sonata's best album. I've also seen people claim that Silence or Winterhearts Guild is the album they enjoy the most. Reckoning Night got almost flawless reviews from critics, while I've seen Unia been hailed as the greatest progression a band has made. I've also met people who say that The Days of Grays is Sonata's best album, and I actually know someone in real life who only likes Stones Grow Her Name and a few songs of other albums.

I, personally, like this album and if you don't; then that's okay. Just don't make your personal opinion something that you think all "Sonata fans" should think. Just like everyone listening to different genres and bands have different taste, people listening to the same album can appreciate different things with the same band.

Though at the end of the day, we're just a bunch of people who've found some finnish guys able to create amazing music...

My friend who is a die hard sonata arctica fan introduced me this band, I was simply ignorant at that time because I was more into modern metal core stuffs. But the more I listen, the more I can distinguish which one is quality song and which one is just regular. Sonata arctica open up my view to enjoy music from broader view. Absolute quality
