Muliagatele Danny Leaoasavai'i, better known as Brotha D, is a music producer who started making a name for himself in the 90s and who helped found Dawn Raid Entertainment.

It burst out of South Auckland taking Māori and Pasifika beats to the world.

He's now reinvented himself as Creative Lead at the South Auckland Creative and Tech Hub.

In Aotearoa - technology is one of our fastest growing exports but, we have a shortage of workers and Maori and Pasifika are woefully under-represented, making up only about 4 percent and less than 3 percent respectively.

At the creative hub, under Brotha D's guidance, young people are getting the chance to try something they might not otherwise have access to - lifting theirs and their community’s hopes and dreams.

No excuses, I know many of our Māori people who suffered horrific upbringings and still became successful in life some of which own two homes... Mihingarangi has a habit of blaming Pakeha and the government for our Māori people's problems she's boarder line racist and been called out for her attitude many times.
