The government should make proper RV campgrounds for a reasonable price.

I'm a disabled senior and I've had my 38 foot 5th wheel on the back of a farm near Aldergrove for 7 years. You can't even see me but the local Karen who lives above her grandmother's garage in an illegal suit reported me and Langley Township bylaw gave me 14 days to vacate or the property or the owners will get daily fines. I don't even own a truck that could tow it. That's how local governments handle the housing crisis.

Im sure the government building 300 new homes while also importing a million third worlders into canada will definetly help the housing situation.

540 new homes since 2017, geez, it should be 50 times that much.

Leave them alone. These are working homeless. They look safe and clean. ❤

There is way more RV campgrounds in BC with long term residents. This is government failure and stupidity at the worst.

Government parking lots/campgrounds need to happen ASAP, at least as a stopgap measure. This problem will only get worse in this decade, and it takes way less time to spin up a campground than it does to facilitate construction of new homes, takes foreeeever 😢

My wife and I went through similar circumstances in 2010. It's why I decided to buy a parcel if "raw" land in Arizona. Even with a nice camper there's nowhere safe to go. When you have land it's the greatest campsite you've ever had. That's how we started and now nearing the completion of our timber frame cabin from lumber we milled ourselves 8 years later. The greatest adventure of my life. I'm a 67 year old husband (35 years next month), father and grandfather.

Canada is truly screwed. As a healthcare professional making six figures I know this could be me too in Alberta as we don't have rent control. WHEN WILL THIS END?
We need to stop mass immigration and temporary forign workers and make businesses like Loblaws pay more then minimal wage a LIVING WAGE as they make profits like never before.

And these are canadian citizens, doing what they can while their own country is bought out from underneath them, and they're priced out of 'the game'.
So, from municipal to regional board to provincial to federal, who's driving this bus? And when do they start?

I hope they are not moved on because they have live somewhere. 540 homes since 2017 is nothing! Now if they said 20, 540 that might put a dent on homelessness. This is not just BC this is across the Country AND it is seen in other Countries too.

Stop the greed! Our country's problems all resort back to greed. In any direction you look.
