I appreciated how well this scene was done. And Jamie just listened, didn’t overreact and simply believed her. You could see Claire’s relief ... and disbelief that he simply took it in and wanted to know more. And then what a man he was to take her there, without her asking or knowing. King of men indeed! Despite that it would hurt him, he put her first. And Claire then made the right decision too - she chose Jamie. ❤️

It was this scene that made me truly, really fall in love with Jamie. He simply believed her, sorry that he beat her, was willing to give her up even though he deeply loved her. That final scene when she says “take me home to Lallybroch” was the first time I cried watching OL

Now this is the scene that makes Jamie shine through.. Amongst dirty, rude, ordinary men of that age, there is a young handsome educated warrior who can understand such a really complicated thing as time travelling... He also has an extraordinary sense of emotional Omg.

I think Jamie understood Claire more once he learned the truth. Perhaps he thought she was crazy at first, and then everything made sense.

What a moment! I feel as he gazes off to the distance after she revealed the truth, it's the realisation for Jamie that Claire, the woman he loves, his wife is not his completely and can return to her home in the future.

One of the best scenes and totally expected by the viewers...
Claire makes a perfect acting... The viewers, happened to me, to put in their shoes just for one day... Coming from the future, after being an English nurse acting on thr front line at the 2WW... And after the war a second honeymoon and from a moment to another she pass a gate that take 200 years before her birthday, in the same place she realized in minutes that what happen... And the whole life was taken way from her...
