An introduction to the work of German painter Georg Baselitz by the curator Martin Schwander on the occasion of the exhibition “Baselitz” at Fondation Beyeler in Riehen (Basel, Switzerland) in German language with English subtitles. Part 8/8.

The final part of the introduction to the retrospective exhibition at Fondation Beyeler has its focus on the latest works of Georg Baselitz, including a very large painting that only just fits into the rooms of the museum. The piece is called “Avignon Ade” (2017), and curator Martin Schwander tells us what this has to do with Picasso.
