Question to Neil, or the poster: I am curious about learning the in's and out's of Altiris. I've touched on the application back in 2007 when working for another company, but I really want to get to know Altiris in its current iteration much more intimately, as a value-add to any organization I choose to go to. Where can I go, for a low-cost/no-cost, environment to setup and learn the deployment of Altiris?

My company had just deployed the Altiris 7.1. I must say that it is too cumbersome! Too many step and too confusing. All the IT guys are complaining!

I have to disagree - its not a great product. Its awful. Obviously you know this but have to say otherwise because you sell/support it.
