Made some clocks. How to make clocks from wood and epoxy resin

...not only do I love the clocks, as they're just gorgeous, but the horizontal bandsaw is killer!!!...and so are all the other homemade tools I saw in this vid...

I have a lot of wood pieces I cut from old dead trees that look like the ones you used in the video. I think I know what I want to do with them. Haven't done any epoxy work but now is a good time to try it out. Beautiful clocks you made.

How do you go from thin to thick walls on the mold. You show tape creating a thin barrier and then suddenly it is thick.
