Cirrus Vision Jet takeoff!

Still getting used to my new Sony RX10iv camera, caught this absolutely stunning 2020 Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet taking off from Lawrence Municipal Airport.

That bubble fuselage makes it look like the aircraft version of an AMC Pacer.

I saw that plane at F45 back in March. Pilot just bought it and it was his third flight with the plane. Great guy!

About 10-12 years ago one CAD computergrapics software company published demo examples of using the Rinoceros or Rhyno programs. One such airing was about a couple of young men in Oregon who designed a single engine small business jet with that software. It looked EXACTLY like the Cirrus Vision and indeed must have been it. The remarkable claim was how little time it took to the phase when the CAD made it to "CAM".

I would think that engine blowin thru that v tail might not be a great design. But im not a aerospace engineer

I used to be a general aviation nut, but have not had the time lately and so very cool this vid popped up. She is gorgeous! And love the v-tail design. Was always a Bonanza fan.
