Die INTEGREX i-500 ist das größte Modell der Serie "INTEGREX i" und weist mit max. Ø700 mm einen sehr großen Bearbeitungsbereich auf. Sie ist mit einer Hochleistungshauptspindel mit hohem Drehmoment ausgestattet. Der neu konzipierte Kompakt-Frässpindelkopf ist kleiner als bei vergleichbaren Maschinen - somit wird ein größerer Bearbeitungsbereich geschaffen.
Zur Erzielung höherer Genauigkeiten wurden alle Maschineneinheiten mit größtmöglicher Verwindungssteifigkeit konzipiert. Ein hochpräzises Linearmaßstabsystem für die B- und C-Achse gehört zur Standardausstattung.
Die speziell auf Ergonomie ausgelegte Maschinenkonzeption ist der Garant für außergewöhnlich große Bedien- und Wartungsfreundlichkeit. Dies verdeutlichen Merkmale wie der ungehinderte Zugang zum Werkzeugmagazin auf der Maschinenvorderseite sowie die weit zu öffnende, tief angeordnete Arbeitsraumtür für ausgezeichnete Zugänglichkeit zum Bearbeitungsbereich.
Die enorme Ausrüstungsvielfalt für Hauptspindel, zweite Spindel und Frässpindel sowie für weitere Maschineneinheiten ermöglicht die Auswahl der jeweils optimal geeigneten Spezifikationen und somit die Erfüllung der Fertigungsanforderungen zahlreicher Branchen.

Die zur Verfügung stehenden Fabrikautomatisierungseinrichtungen wie z.B. das schnelle Portalladesystem können sowohl an der rechten als auch an der linken Maschinenseite angeordnet und wie die bodeninstallierten Gelenkroboter für den unbemannten Betrieb eingesetzt werden.

INTEGREX i-500 advanced Multi-Tasking Machine is the largest machine in the INTEGREX i series for efficient processing of medium to large complex parts. The machine features a high-output, high-torque main spindle and a compact milling spindle that combine the capabilities of a high-powered turning center and with that of a full-function machining center to produce parts in single setups.

This machine configuration works to minimize fixtures, setups, tools, handling and non-cut time. Additionally, the machine brings dramatic reductions in lead-time and improves part accuracy through the elimination of multiple setups. With full 5-axis capability, the machine easily processes fully prismatic parts from solid blocks or castings (chucked or bar fed) as well as round and/or highly contoured parts.
