We need more goal scorers. top 10 with what we have, if we get some offensive reinforcements may be higher. Right now we have Wilson and ASM and if they go offline with the team we have we are screwed. But at least we have a good defense because it seems like we have spent a lot of this summer shoring up the defence that was one of the best by the end of the season.

Diaby is worth 60 million. Pay it even if it means no other transfers this window. Diaby is on the verge of becoming one of the best players in his position in the world. If we want him just pay it because real Madrid, Juventus, man city, liverpool or Chelsea will snap him up, it's just a matter of time.

As a long time Toon fan, I would NOT be happy with Gordon joining Newcastle. He wouldn't fit in, he is a hot-headed, dirty player in my opinion. Just look back at the highlights playing against Newcastle alone! No Everton player is good enough for Newcastle, they are all a bunch of hard hitting dirty players! Not for me I'm afraid!

Love to see Diaby, but, a note of realism here. NUFC cannot offer him European football this year and he's currently playing Champions League and will if he remains. All we have is a paycheck and the club might be reluctant to break the current scale for this guy. If we qualified for Europe this season I'd give us greater odds, but at the moment, it seems unlikely we have enough yet to attract.
