I can't begin to thank you all enough for your incredibly emotional responses to this piece. Music has always been there for us as a comfort and a place to feel what we need to feel on deeper levels. All I can say is thank you for listening and taking the time to respond. I have a great many pieces written in this vein to eventually be released as "Bitter Suites: The Outlier Nocturnes". Stay tuned. ❤

After hearing this on TPS and seeing Dan react to it, the echoes of this melody haunt me. Truly beautiful.

Today is my 50th birthday. And no other music could relate to my life better than this song. So many emotions on this day. Miss my parents. The days brings me closer to meeting them on the other side.
Love you Andy for bringing so much joy into my life❤

Though i follow your wonderful work Mr. Timmons, sadly i seldom offer comments. But this is such a powerfully emotive song. It nearly brings me to tears in its melancholic beauty. It perfectly expresses longing, yearning, memories, regret as well as hope. It just goes to show that what matters is every note played perfectly. Though we all love the shredding, to put music to what is beyond words is a real gift. Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous piece.

This is one of the most soulful, touching and beautiful guitar performances I have ever heard.

One of the most beautiful pieces of guitar music I've heard. I can fully understand how it makes grown men cry! 👌

I've tried to learn this song 3 times now and halfway through I just catch myself simply listening. This piece transcends music.

Good thing YouTube videos don't wear out like old cassettes because this one would be in danger lol. Amazing work!

A drummer friend of mine once asked me, years ago, did I ever hear an instrumental piece of music that made me I laughed like a cavalier, stroked my moustache and eyed him with with mild contempt, "NEVER" I chortled aloud with bombast, at that moment he seemed like a weak little man to me, sensitive and fragile.... however, I now bow my head and look upon the tears that gather at my feet, for when I hear Andy strum this beautiful tune upon his guitar... I weep, I weep... I weep.

I love the way Andy Timmons is ageing as a composer, as a guitarist... Brings so much finesse and zen to music. Real role model for us (not so young) guitarists.

I just listen this in the pedal show and learn it just after, so beautiful, I initiate young children to music and when I played this song to my little students everybody was hypnotized by these notes !

The song that made Dan (TPS) cry! Very emotional! Andy, you are a point of reference for the worldwide guitar movement.

Just the way we wanted it. Exactly how we heard it the first time on TPS
Thank you very much for this.
The guitar is an extension of your higher spirit self 🙏🏻

I am in tears. I've been working on "Gone" and "The Prayer the Answer" for a couple of years now and although I can't play either well or all the way through, at times I've been able to experience the joy and release of expressing what's in my heart through the music that you have written. Love, loss, joy, grief, sadness, wonder, ecstasy, beauty, pain, sorrow, gratitude...Thank you Andy!
