Anyone who believes socialism is a superior way of managing an economy should listen to Milton Friedman's "nobody knows how to make a pencil" story. It does a great job of illustrating the inherent superiority of the free market price system.

It's literally impossible for central planners to ever be capable of being as efficient as the free market. (And that's before you even consider the ungodly unethical authoritarian nature of socialism)

You know, I am a millennial. I always thought I was a huge screwup. I unfortunately became a drug addict and used heroin for 10 years. I’ve been clean for four, I’m engaged, I have a seven-month-old son. I am proud of the man I am today and so is my family. But I will always feel as though I failed. I didn’t go to college, I didn’t even finish high school. I make under 50, 000 a year. By societal standards I’m on the lower echelon. But as a millennial I feel like part of the 1%. Because I am a normal proud American who voted for Trump. Thank God I didn’t end up like those other millennials.
