Dear Alix,
1. Your very attractive and I enjoy your reviews.
2. I've owned this product for several years and use it weekly.
3. You need to retest using my instructions:
A. Discard the enclosed instructions
B. Cook the hot dog (preferably a natural casing Weiner) for one cycle without the bun on any setting.
C. Press down lightly on the bun (do no squish it) and place it in the device and cycle it one more time with the hot dog using the highest setting.
4. Apply your condiments and enjoy.

i like to cook the hot dogs separately on a high temp and have them burnt a little or put the buns in halfway
