This time Mitch went low and Kirstin went high. I love the way they never allow themselves to get locked into a rut. They are such great singers that they can change and still sound perfect. This reminded me of Kirstie's early whistle-tones. Beautiful.

Yo, wtf HOW?? There’s no way that they are this perfect every time they perform.. my mind tells me that. My experience tells me that. Yet, I still have never once heard them sound anything close to bad, or even really good. They sound perfect. Like studio perfect. Kirsten was unreasonably good, and I have to say this yet again… this dude Matt. I honestly have difficulty wrapping my head around his ability and accuracy. The man has one of the best voices I have ever heard. From any and every genre, in my entire life. He is PERFECT for this group.

Kirstie was KILLIN’! I think the last three years Kirstin has been emerging from her cocoon! She’s belting right up there with the boys now! I believe Mitch is happy that Kirstie is taking more of the high tessitura stuff; it takes the pressure off Mitch having to do all the higher parts. By the way... Kirstie did a C6 and D6 in this on the recording. Those are the highest notes sung by Pentatonix on record! Kirstin owns that record—not the magnificent Mitch! (Casting NO shade on Mitch! He’s a master countertenor!)
