the sound the ps2 makes when reading a disc is both beautiful and unnerving to me because when my ps2 was already quite old it made that very high pitch noise and it meant the game was not going to work

Nothing beats the ps1startup sound, who misses the old days when multiplayer meant actually sitting with your friends and family all playing on the same tv, the amount of nights playing against friends on Worms Armageddon ps1 or Goldeneye on N64 with 4 player split screen on a 28 inch tv amazing times

The game cube one almost put me to tears. I still remember holding a game box and hearing the mini disc shake against to plastic ever so slightly. You need to have an ear for it tho lol. Thank you for this unreal experience down my childhood
