Classie Ballou 1937-2022 - RIP & Go Fund Me - 'Classie's Whip' & 'Get On Boy (partial)'

Recieved very sad news yesterday (7-28-22) that the legendary Classie Ballou Sr. had transitioned on 7-27-22. He would have turned 85 on his next birthday, 8-21-22. His daughter was throwing him a birthday celebration at The BackYard, in Waco, TX on 8/21. From what I have read in The Waco Tribune-Herald (links below), the event will now stand as a tribute & celebration. His daughter, Cacean Ballou, has also put together a Go Fund Me page in hopes of helping with burial and final medical expenses (link also below). I have put this video together, rather hastily, and with heavy heart, in hopes it might get the information about, regarding the Go Fund Me page, as well as the celebration event for August 21, in Waco, TX, at The Backyard venue. I am with no copyrights regarding any of this, so please let me know if I should remove this video, as I will likely bring it down once the event and Go Found Me event have transpired, anyway. In the mean time, please share the video, and information, as much as warranted, and so inclined. I am fortunate enough to have seen Classie Ballou, and his Family Band, several times here in New Orleans, and there are not words to describe how talented they are, and how special & positive their performances were. Classie's children, and grandchildren are out doing their own thing, too, and an absolute joy to behold. If you have not seen Cacean & The Dirty Crawfish, or grandson Cedryl Ballou & The Zydeco Trendsetters, you owe it to yourself to see them when you can, and hunt down their amazing recordings. Truly life affirming, and infectious. Long live Classie's legend, and may his family find strength, and love in a difficult time. Thanks for your consideration.
