Brilliant music all of it. It's extremely nostalgic even without real nostalgia. I'm 43 and I've been playing Minecraft for only 4 years; it's been nostalgic to me the entire time.

I think Minecraft isn’t necessarily sad, but it definitely lonely. Sometimes Minecraft songs actually bring a sense of hope rather than gloom

I've said this before and I say it again
I know the feeling of what c418 music had on me, and thats why I have been literally studying his minecraft songs and every other song he ever made since Covid. I only play piano and I love creating melodies that are just like C418. I want to not replace him, but imitate his style strongly and give the same musical feeling that C418 had given so many others. I haven't been able to create a full album but I do have a plan... sort of

I want to recreate every different type of minecraft song like one from the nether, the overworld, the music discs, and so on

Progress is slow but patience will help me make something at least decent..

I think the lonely style music goes well with playing solo survival because your character is literally the only one of it's kind. You are alone; despite all the other mobs, they are not like you.

I like the survival mode music.

But I LOVE the creative mode music, those tracks for one reason or another just hit very different, sometimes to the point of making me zone out for a few minutes.

There’s one old Minecraft song that holds a special place in my heart. My version of the Legacy Console Edition stopped playing any music beyond the opening track for months. Then, one day, a different piano track played in the middle of a play session, and I was so glad to hear music again, that I’ve had a soft spot for that song ever since. It doesn’t play as often due to there being so many more songs in the mix, unfortunately.

The soundtrack we have today is a great statement of how much the game has changed and evolved through the years and the nostalgic soundtrack is a great piece that shows and reminds us of the games past

As someone who played all the way back in 2012/13 in highschool nothing beats or compares to c418. I didn't grow up with all the other and new stuff so yeah my nostalgia resides with basically the birth of Minecraft.

C418 was truly the best man. Only some of the newer songs are a hit I much prefer the older ones. Gareth coker did a fantastic job I think he’s probably most similar to C418 and it would be interesting if he made music for the base game
