Well, we don't need $70000 electric race cars...try SMALL electrics, and less NEED of cars, but there would still be a surge of sales. Tesla won't cut it.

I listened to the Presidents speech for earth day and it sounds great for home owners, youth and jobs but I think it falls short of protecting the most vulnerable population's. The elderly, disabled and homeless communities. The supreme court is hearing whether a homeless person can use a blanket? Sadly they are going to need more than a blanket to protect from some of the extreme temputures we have all ready seen this year and summer is coming. Energy bills of the elderly, disabled who often live in public housing units or are renters will be greatly effected by rising cost and the need for aid. It seems that bringing access of solar to them a investment in lower dependence for aid later while making sure they have access to heating and cooling in extreme weather.
