WOW! Loved what Zach said about sanctification being freed progressively from the power of sin over the span of our lives, and this happens in measure as we walk and grow in maturity. (This is so encouraging because sometimes one can feel like they have to be sanctified right away, that it is not a progressive freedom from the power of sin over the course and it does not happen in measure (or as they say, we are a work in progress.)

My dad is 78. Not interested in hearing Gods Word. If I start talking about he, he drifts and changes subject. He is 78. Somebody pray for his soul because nothing I say gets through. For one he doesn’t want to give up his lifestyle, his thinking, nothing. He thinks he has been a “good” person like he can save himself.
