Arduino Tutorial: 433Mhz Wireless modules basic setup and example using DHT22 temperature sensor.

In this video we are going to build a simple project just to demonstrate how easy it is to add wireless capability to our Arduino Projects with these 433Mhz modules. I have two Arduinos here. This one is sending the temperature and the humidity it measures every two seconds, and the other one is receiving the data and displaying it on the display. As you can see this one way communication is working fine and the range is good, we can easily get around 6 meters with a small antenna! The theoretical range that we can achieve is more than 100 meters. You can find links for all the parts in the description of the video.

433 Mhz used to be very popular when I manufactured wireless control for actuators in conservatories but was subject to interference from the actuators as they were 230volt AC so I had to use a lot of suppression.

Great! I would really LOVE see that antenna video!
Thanks for your videos... From them I've got lots of inspiration. Keep going ;)
I hope you upload that video soon because I'm a student and the classes will resume pretty soon.

I really like your videos. I like your way to explain things
showing the working project then showing how to assemble stuff and finally showing the code
good way to explain things

Most encouraging (how-to, cost)video especially for a novice. Thanks for sharing!

You have to plug the transmitter on 12V for "100" meter range.

Hello, thank you very much. The project is amazing and exciting.
I have a question: Can I send and receive data from more than one sensor via the RF module
thank you..

can we set colour also for High temperature and humidity

nice explanation. Can we connect 5 transmitter with one receiver ?? what modification we need to do in circuitry ??

if you're using the adafruit gfx library there's a command that can print text over another text without drawing a filled rectangle... Just watch the adafruit's site to learn about it... it's faster than drawing a rectangle

Ok after spending a few days trying to make this work and tried 4 different of these sets I am convinced that the software mentioned here doesnt work at leat with my arduinos and my RF modules..

I follow the link to the parts and the site is so SPAMmed with ads I cannot read it.

I really want to find a good antenna design.
This is the project I am involved with currently. I am using a DHT 11 and a BMP180 pressure sensor and two arduino nanos. Also using a 5110 Nokia LCD display.

Very nice!!
I think I will try the DIY Weatherstation in my house again ;-)

if we add sensors like temperature sensor..the receiver can receive the data??

Sir, please make a video about BMP180 data transfer using 433mhz.

is it possible to use multiple of these transmitters in a way they wont try to send at the same time and corrupt the data ?

how can i define a specific identification code for transmitter and receiver?
thanks
