DCS: Intense CAS turned SEAD

This mission was supposed to be BAI but turned into CAS and then the hunter became the hunted when SAM defences showed up unexpectedly before turning hunter once again taking out the SAMs

I have to admire your ability to dodge SAM radars at low level and blow their heads off with the Harrier gun. I am hoping that with your familiarity of the AV8b you can advise me on a question please.

For weeks I have been trying a variety of airframes, weapons and tactics to attack the following target while solo:
The target is an airfield surrounded by one each of an SA11, SA15 and an SA10. There are also a number of ZU-23 emplacements scattered around, and Fog of War (FOW) is on so you cannot do any preplanned target points.
If I turn the fog of war off I can flatten the airfield with the F15e using multiple passes of CBU-97's but with FOW on the early Targeting pod on the F15e mean you have to get too close to set the target points.
How would you do this with the AV8b please? Standoff and designate with the TPOD followed by GPS weapons? Fixing the targets with the TPOD while dodging the SAMs seems a challenge.

Hope you do not mind this question. I have watched your SEAD videos but this is the first time I have tried to cope with a multilayered SAM defense.

Question: WHats the ideal gain and contrast to set in the special options so i dot have to fart about with the tpod every time i cold start .. cheers.
