For senko baits I get Bass Pro shop Stick-o's..you get 16 a bag and are more durable than most. Another good video Jim.

I like the Googan baits I’ve caught ALOT of bass on the bandito bug and the lunker logs. Now I realize and admit that the plastics are as durable as I’d like but I do love using them and they’ve definitely landed some fish for me for sure.

Edit: Awesome video man love how you speak the truth. That’s rare these days. 👍🏻👊🏻

For me, I think plastics are cool but I tend to lean more on the hard baits. Yeah depending on the brand it could run ya 8 bucks or more but if you mind your line you can keep lures for years. Ill really only throw plastic out if the fish are being picky and ive gone through all my main hard lures, its always good to keep options in your backpack

Googan baits are good baits, but personally, that is not my issue with them. Generally their baits are not unique and they are pricey.
The trench hawg is the most unique, and the mondo worm is worth a mention because it has a bigger body section and a bigger profile, so I feel like it gets a bigger strike.
Other than these two exceptions, the baits are very standard.
Not to mention that their color selection is too small, although I'm sure this will be fixed eventually.

TJ you are spot on I for 1 will not use a Googan anything cause I dont like the Googans as for the sinkos I use the Bass Pro shop brand along with the Yum baits manly due to they are tough they dont rip as easy also the cost I will not pay 8.00$ for any plastic bait that may sound cheap but down south here these fish are bait wreckers lol great vid.

I have a few of the Googan soft plastics but have not used them but a few times. I have high confidence with the Yum Dingers and for the price I just see no need to move away from them. To be honest I forget that I have other plastics in my boat when I am catching fish. Good review Jim and say a prayer for David Dudley, sounds like he could use some help kicking the vid.

Enjoy the video. Don't always judge a book by its cover it's good to try something new every now and then you never know it could be your new next best friend.

I’ve caught more on their drag n drop and the bandits bug than I have on any of their baits that I have. You are correct, they catch fish and like any plastics, they do wear out after a couple fish

I have a buddy that dogs my googan stuff, but he even admitted the rods feel nice in the hand and some of the baits he’s wanting to try this year.
I’m a huge fan of Zoom finesse worms, but I’m trying out the googan slim shakes this year to compare. All in all, it just depends on what lure you like in which brand. Googan might have a better speed worm, but Zoom might have a better finesse worm, etc.
Just found your channel btw, new follower now and great content. 👍

Curious, why don't you Drop Shot? So, does that mean if you hear about a New Technique, you don't do it? You stay with your tried and true???

I’m more of a 6th sense and a Zman guy but googan soft plastics aren’t that bad. Not really a fan of the Googans personally but their plastics catch fish. Great unbiased review TJ

Honestly I cannot stand the smell of googan baits long enough to really use them. With that being said, I’ve bought the KVD speed bags thinking I’d be able to organize my softbaits, and I was only able to fit about 22 Gary Yamamoto Senko bags in the speed bag that is said to be able to fit 40.

And of course they are out of the large speed bags....but definitely gonna grab some bro, as far as the googan baits. I don't have any complaints. They worked well for me since I got to Kentucky. I followed all of them since before googan so I don't mind supporting the Brand and being Active duty Army I definitely want to support my Veteran Brothers Lojo and Rob

Honestly don't know why there is alot of hate towards googan baits. They are really good baits IMO but with a good product people are always going to hate. You either have a soft plastic that is stiff with minimal action but can catch more fish per plastic or you have a bait with lots of action but can only catch 1 2 or 3 fish per bait. And googan is a mix of both, good action and pretty durable. Personally for me they catch alot of fish and I just about only use googan.

No doubt the googan Baits work, but honestly what soft plastics out on the market won't catch fish? I would rather spend my money, and support a bait company making products in the USA! That's why I dont buy googan Baits that often. Plenty of made In the USA soft plastics that work just has good if not better imo!

Can you do a review on only mondo worms?

Word of caution on the speedbags. I all of my clamshell baits that don't also have a bag in them, think Keitech, biospawn...etc. They will build up humidity inside the bag and ruin your baits. Ask me how I know $150 later. They are fine for sealable bags. Do not trust them to non-airtight clamshells.
