I was in Belgrade last May with my daughter. We travelled on the comfortable China-built double-decker Coko train to Novi Sad. The 80 km journey took 36 minutes and the day return ticket was 1015 RSD each, not even £7.50! On our return to England we took the Heathrow Express to Paddington station. It’s only 15 miles and took 30 minutes. The one way ticket cost £25 each.
