BRUSHES
Princeton do a good range of synthetic squirrel brushes. This is a size 10 round.
And Winsor and Newton Cotman brushes are also good. This is a size 10 round.

I often use a rigger brush (called script liner in the US) and this is a link to the Cotman range of riggers, this is size 1.

Wow. I never would have thought to add the brown to the daisy center but it really give the middle part some dimension. Thanks

So inspired by this one. Quite striking! You answered several questions I had….after past rejects using the dark wash background.

Thank you for demonstrating this technique. Beautiful result.

Did you know a person can zoom in on a YouTube by just placing your fingers together on your phone screen then sliding them open?

I found this out a few months ago. It might have been available for a long time lol but I just learned of it. Hope your other subscribers know about that feature too.

I really enjoy being able to see what you do in a magnified way, at the same time being in control of seeing it full screen, if I zoom back out.

I'm holding my phone when this video pops up that I've been waiting for for a very long time. From the first moment I saw this picture, I was taken with it. The strong blue background with the white daisies appealed to me right away. Now you even share the technique with us. Masking technik reminds me on Batik technik. Thank you so much, Diane.

PS: What is that sound? Do you have a metronome?

If you think about it correctly, it doesn't look like daisies, but like a night sky with stars

Found this and learned a lot. Definitely want to try this. Never used masking fluid yet. Thank you! You’re still my favorite. I like Denise Love too but have to mute her. The gorilla noises unnerve me. 💙🦋
