Got a Madbull recently. Fished with it this afternoon for the first time. I was throwing a Berkley WakeBull 70 on a pond. It loads up so nicely! I put a Metanium DC on it and it is a dream combo to fish with! Balances right at the front section of the reel seat chuck.

No hard hook sets with it today. I just reeled into them and slowly raised the rod up, letting it just load up. The trebles were buried. Perfect blend of action and power.

I was surprised at the sensitivity given the “regular” action rating. Can’t wait to use it again!😂

That has to be one of the more universal rods in that lineup. I’ve used it to throw deep cranks spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and kanata.

I'm looking for a do all moving bait rod. I throw chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, topwater, and squarebills. Does this rod do it all? I've heard the guys at The Hook Up Tackle rave on it being a great junk fishing rod. Punch says it's his go to for shallow cranks and 6 foot divers. Hearing lots of mixed reviews. Is this rod worth the money? I'm a kayaker and bank fisherman. I hate taking multiple rods. Want to consolidate my collection. I've got an OrochiXX Diablo Spec R. Should i take the plunge on this rod. Seems like the Diablo Spec R and the Madbull are twins at different price points.
