Don’t sign up for subscription ink -I foolishly did from HP, but kept getting emails saying I had used more than my weekly rate, when I hadn’t used it for a month. It’s a huge corporate scam and should be outlawed !

I hate HP printers. They make it impossible to use any ink cartridge except theirs by mail. Hate their customer service, too!

You missed the most important info when looking at printers, the cost of the Ink, thanks for wasting my time.👎

Yeah lets just skip over ink... lets totally not talk about the caveat at all, lets ignore the fact you get almost no ink in those cartridges and they cost you an arm and a leg.

Stay away from hp printers they break just after warranty is finished and you don't get help from them at all. rubbish!

I paid about $50 or $60 for a decent Hp printer on sale at Walmart but the problem was that I ended up paying more for cartridges than I ever paid for the printer itself. So it's always good to make sure you buy a good printer that also has cheaper cartridges.

Can’t believe I came to this video because I hate my printer and am thinking about buying a new one only to find out one of he printers being recommended is the one i’ve stared at in disbelief and frustration for so many months. Since the first print I noticed my epson expression had the colors kind of wrong, black and grey looking too blue and the red too purpley, something that I did not enjoy since I wanted to print small posters on glossy paper. To this day I know not how to fix it and have sadly given up on such an idea. Another thing is that it is in constant need of calibration (calibration? more like attention, am I right fellas????). It seems like we won’t have to worry about machines taking over soon because this little piece of crap won’t remember it’s own calibration for longer that a week. And it often requires more that one calibration test to get it working, so that I waste all that precious ink that costs more than my liver. Talking about cartridges, this thing actually feels superior to me enough to tell me what to do in my own house! I happen to be a bit on the lower side of red ink but in a hurry to print a black and white school paper? Sucks to be me, because unless I go out in the middle of the night to buy more ink that I’m not even planning to use the damn thing will just refuse to work, as if accusing me of slavery unless I feed it my own (red ink) blood. Also, why does it take so goddamn long for it to boot and start printing? Does it really need 5 minutes to stretch, have it’s morning coffee and think about life to print a research paper? Anyway, it sucks, buy at your own risk

😀Last year I bought the Canon and found it both hard to set up wirelessly and the ink expensive. I don't trust the rest of its reviews.

Kind of weird that the top one has no scanning ability...

I've had a cheap envy printer for 10 years. Still going strong

I had an HP A3 printer but when they updated the firmware it said I needed genuine HP cartridges and it wouldn't print so I ditched it. I bought an Epson XP257 home expression but after a few years it kept saying I wasn't using genuine cartridges so I replaced it with a Pantum 5600NW laser printer with scanner. The Pantum even lets you refill the toner cartridge with ink powder and tells you how to in the instruction manual. Refilling with toner powder will cost about £12 compared with £75 for the A3 HP or £45 for the Epson.

Cartridges are expensive, you need to break down costs, why no ink tank printers on the list?

I went for the Epson Expression Home XP-4100, I only need a printer for occasional use so feel this is the best for me as you can replace individual ink. Had HP envy for years but found it stop working with WIN11 and now after the fix and new drivers it keeps missing lines on document. So given up with HP.

I've been buying HP printers since 2000 and was loyal customer. Never again. Their printers are nightmare. Constantly replacing ink cartridges even though I hardly ever use it. PC and laptop only lasted 2 years until I had to replace the hard drives in each.
