Phil Mickelson: How to CHIP 50 yards From the BUNKER
In this video Phil Mickelson explains and demonstrates how to hit further out of the bunker using the hinge and hold method, lob shot principles, and different lofted clubs. Phil Mickelson uses a 60 degree wedge, sand wedge, pitching wedge, and a 9 iron out of the bunker to gain distance out of a bunker. Nothing changes in his Lob shot/bunker address (watch: How to chip part 3 for lob shot address, click link below). The hands are accelerating into a high finish just like in his normal bunker high finish (watch: The bunker part 1, click link below).
