Fun fact: they used a blue screen in the original Mortal Kombat, making it so the guy who portrayed scorpion, subzero and reptile, had to wear a red ninja outfit that would be colored later in production. This resulted in a glitch that makes them appear red in the game. The idea of a red ninja for Ermac came from this.

Fun fact. Cuz they were limited with the actors they had. Alot of the existing actors n actress took on more than one role. The guy who does nightwolf also does Cryax, sector n smoke. While the guy who does subzero he does all the male ninjas from Scorpion, reptile, rain, ermac, noob, human smoke, and classic sub zero. N the actor who does kano also does Shao khan while Steven Richie did the voice.

Back in MK. Ho san pak who does Liu kang also did motion for Shang tsung there are pics of him in the old man shang tsung costume. While the actor who did Johnny cage in the first game also did Scorpion, subzero, and Reptile. He even continued to do so in Mk2.
